This wine is a Blanc de Noir (white wine made of red grapes) with a brilliant light coral tint to it’s otherwise white color. The bubbles tickle the nose with aromas of spiced applesauce, spice and fresh baked bread. The taste is fruit forward and rich with freshness with lovely notes of crisp Jonagold apples, ripe pear and creamy vanilla. This Blanc de Noir a wonderful Brut with lots of flavors of summer fruits and freshness suitable for any occasion and food.

Our Montona Chardonnay exudes complex aromas of fresh stone fruit, Meyer lemon and floral notes complemented by subtle oak overtones of almond and crème brulee. On the palate, the wine is exploding with flavors of pear, toasted almond and spiced apple. Minimal new oak allows the wine to retain its natural fruit characteristics and varietal focus.

2015 Montona Merlot

The Merlot opens with a perfume of dark red fruit reminiscent of black cherry and cassis layered with hints of tobacco and spice. On the palate earthy tones and pronounced tannins are complemented with bold fruit flavors of huckleberry and pomegranate followed by hints of black pepper.
